Geocache Description:

Chippewa Square was built in approximately 1815 to commemorate the 1814 victory of the Battle of the Chippewa in upper Canada. There, the British were defeated by American forces under the command of Major General Jacobs Jenning Brown. In the center of the square is a statue of James Oglethorpe.
