The cache is a 35mm container containing a log book please bring a writing utensil pencil
Opposite the cache are the remnants of the railway line which ran from the quarry to the south breakwater pier at Peterhead (Burn haven)Prisoners from Peterhead Prison were shackled in transit under armed guard and transported in the specially-built coaches with small barred windows, the track bed can be followed along the main road, sadly Burn haven is no longer in existence it was cleared many years ago, The quarry is still in operation so please observe caution if venturing beyond the cache
