Scarecrow? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

phenixcachers: Well, the two recent dnf's makes it sound like that old crow has finally spread his big black wings and migrated somewhere other than the good ole FHT...haha.
After reading my long time caching friend pogwog's dnf, I bet the container has been stolen because Paul is an experienced long time geocacher.
It hasn't been found in two years, but has lived a good caching life since I hid it in 2012 (and it earned 5 favorite points!---yay!)

When i get to feeling better and not as sick as I have been all weekend, I will head up there to see if it's been stolen (or not).
Even if it's still there or has been somewhere in the vicinity of ground zero, I will still pick up the container Since I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

Heres another fun and cool "mystery cache container" just off the good ole' Frisco Highline Trail!
Since this "container" is suppose to be a "mystery container"---PLEASE do not say what it is in your found logs!

This "mystery cache container" is a real hoot--and I'm quite proud of it!
Special thanks goes to my buddy Train1904 for giving it to me to hide.
He found it at a garage sale over in Ash Grove a month or so ago, and he knew I'd make a cool "mystery container" out of it..haha
I quickly went to work on it and waited until the weather got a little cooler to hide it.
Well today was the day, and I headed to the good ole' FHT for some cache hiding action!

***PLEASE NOTE***
You do NOT have to remove the main "host" from its hiding spot.
(You probably couldnt remove him even if you tried, because I both wired AND zip-tied him into place---so he should stay put!..haha.)

You'll see the container that holds the logsheet, on the main host.
Just simply unscrew it to get to the logsheet.
Please make sure its screwed on back--TIGHTLY!

If the main host container ever comes unwired for whatever reason and you find it on the ground, please let me know, and I'll run up there and do some fixin' up on this cool mystery cache container.

Since this area is mostly "clean and neat"---other than a few small branches to duck under, the bushwhacking will be minimal.

Please note that there is a very small "channel" as you approach ground zero.
During heavy rains, water will collect in this channel and might run some too if we have received alot of rain.
But even then, its a very small channel to step/hop across and the water doesnt run fast anyways.
(MOST any other time of the year....this little channel of water WILL BE DRY.)

Also---Please DO NOT search for this cache at night!
(Daylight caching only, please!)

Dont forget your geo-pen/geo-pencil!
Good Luck and Enjoy!
Cache on my friends...
Scott (phenixcachers)
