Lots of geocachers live in areas where it is hard to get from one state to the next in a day but with this series you have the chance of getting caches in 4 states in about 44 minutes of driving. There is no time limit so just have fun caching your way from state to state. All the caches have been placed for easy access just on and off of Interstate 81. You can be traveling north or south it makes no difference. Each cache was placed by a different local geocacher from their own state. They are from south to north:
- Virginia -- WVKiwi
- West Virginia -- GR8Caches
- Maryland -- Tazscouter
- Pennsylvania -- Wirtz
This cache is NOT accessible from I-81. You must use PA exit 1 (Mason Dixon Road).
You are looking for a small lock n'lock located on the guard rail. Small cars and motorcycles can easily park along Mason Dixon Rd. to make the quick grab. Otherwise, there is a larger pullover just down the street from the cache that cars, trucks, and tractor trailers use as parking. You may park there as well and walk over if you do not feel comfortable pulling off. This is a highly traffic-ed road, so kids or pets are best left in the car.
