Geocache Description:

This series is more about the places than the cache! Growing up out here in the sticks, I always heard and knew of these "villages" that were created by the people that lived here. Some of these "villages" aren't on the new maps, and almost all are now considered part of a nearby bigger town or borough.

This cache is located on the way out of Ashville. Ashville isn't a small village anymore and has taken in some of the "villages" around it...part of Coupon, Morris Flats, etc. It has a nice little park behind the Fire Hall, which has it's own cache. Should be an easy c&d, but take a minute to enjoy the area around you and drive around a bit. Cache is a small container with some swag in it! Enjoy!

Please pull off onto the gravel near the cache and not pull off on the highway. Highway is busy sometimes so please be careful...especially pulling out onto the highway after grabbing the cache.
