Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Virgil Nature Trail. This is a nice winding trail that runs through the Lower Virgil Dam and Reservoir area governed by the NPCA. Things you might see while walking along this gravel trail could range from the squirrels and coons that I saw , to the hawks and herons and fish swimming in the pond.

Here you can take a seat and rest if you need it and watch the pond for a while, it can be quite relaxing. I noticed the the local kids need a talking to about cleaning up after themselves. I wasn't sure which side of the path to use for the hide so I posted co-ords in the middle and left a bit of a challenge for the hide.

Please be Respectful of the Nature area and stick to the path and don't leave anything behind other than footsteps.

Placement Guidelines as set out by the NPCA have been followed and Permission for this Placement has been granted for the period of 1 year from the date of publish.
