How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

An easily accessed, somewhat exposed roadside location. People will often pull over here to use their phones, or (depending on the season) watch for wildlife in the nearby field. Parking is REAL close. This stretch of highway will be constantly busy. Please be discrete.

About a mile west of here on older maps of the area there is a spot labeled "Kansas City." The nearby gravel road (now a private drive) leads to it. At one time there was a small mining community populated with workers from the Embreeville mines and ironworks. There are no structures left now and all that remains is a spot on a map.

You are looking for a ducktaped pouch with room for log and maybe a coin or small travel tag. Please replace it as you found it so other cachers can have the same experience you did.
