Geocache Description:

Cache is not at posted coordinates. Follow the map below to find this letterbox hybrid cache. Please leave the stamp (handcarved, my exercise in engineering as much as artistry) in the container. See links below for other Roo adventures.

Fairfax County Parks are open daily, dawn to dusk, please do NOT hunt this cache at night or any other time the park is closed. Thanks to FCPA for permission to place this cache.

for Best Kids' Cache and Most Creative Cache.

Roo slipped away from me again--this time a pack of wild mountain bikers were bearing down on us and she skedaddled. At the end of her scurry at least she had found a nice place for a breather--no bikes could get to her--and I certainly was thankful for a spot to rest my legs! Start at the posted coordinates and follow the trail--use the map (custom built by Team Serrabou) to help you navigate to the secret hiding spot. Make sure you don't go as far as Ruh Roh Rocks though (see waypoint; not depicted on map). Good luck!

Roo is trackable! Be sure to log her if you see her.

Click on image to embiggen. Note, not to scale! Especially distance from end of crossing to turn left and up.

If you would like to extend your hike, consider continuing down the trail to Peppertree Jungle.
