Throwing a little blast from the past in here. Gone are the days of the block parties and pot luck picnics that families used to have all across this wonderful country. So come join Team Backwoods in the Park from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and bring your dish.
Team Backwoods is going to throw a Pot Luck Picnic at Briscoe Rotory Boy Scout Park in Shawnee, Ok. Add to your will attend log what you are bringing or get On the C.O.G. facebook page and add it to the Pot Luck Picnic in the Park Document. This way hopefully we won't have 5 or 6 of the same dish. Remember this is August in Oklahoma and the weather is warm so plan your dishes accordingly. There is Electricity nearby in the park for things that will be needed to keep warm but not in the pavilion area. In the park there are plenty of slides and swings for the kids to play on, 4 Tennis Courts, a basketball court and a walking trail. Lots of fun for the family to enjoy.
