The ground zero area is one of my favorite places to spy San Bruno Mountain. Though the view has been obstructed by Centennial Tower(s) at the base of the mountain, it is still quite nice. Its also just a short walk away from the San Francisco Bay Trail, loaded with other caches.
Parking is never easy around here, but you should be able to park at the dead end of Gateway at Oyster Point Blvd for a short time without hassle. Please use stealth, especially during typical business hours, as there will be muggles on foot, bike and in cars. The cache is now a big higher up, so bring a tall friend.
