Tato skrysa vas zavedie na hreben Zapadnych Tatier, do mojich milovanych Rohacov na jeden nenapadny kopec, ktory sa skryva v tieni svojich vyssich a znamejsich bratov. Ale aj odtialto je nadherny 360 ° vyhlad na Rohacsku dolinu, Oravu i Vysoke Tatry.
This cache will take you on the main ridge of Western Tatras on a stealthy mountain, that is hidden in the shadow of his bigger brothers. But from here you can admire Rohac valley, Orava and the High Tatras as well.
Rákoň 1876 m n. m.
Rakon (1 876 m.n.m.) sa nachadza na hrebeni Zapadnych Tatier - Rohacov v susedstve svojho vacsieho brata Volovca. Je z neho nadherny 360° vyhlad na celu Rohacsku dolinu, Oravu i Tatry. Najrychlejsie je mozne sa sem dostat zo Zverovky po zltej TZ cez Latanu dolinu alebo po zelenej TZ od Tatljakovej chaty cez sedlo Zabrad. Pristup z polskej strany je po TZ (zlta, neskor subezne s modrou) Polana Chocholowska - Bobrowiecky Zleb - Lucna - Dlhy uplaz - Rakon. Z Rakona je mozne dalej pokracovat na Volovec alebo Lucnu.
Rakon (1 876 m ASL) is located on the main ridge of Western Tatras - Rohace in the neighborhood its bigger brother Volovec. There is a nice 360° view on the whole Rohac valley, Orava and the High Tatras. You can get here taking the shortest way from Zverovka on the yellow hiking trail through Latana valey or from Tatljak cottage on the green hiking trail trough saddle Zabrad. From polish side you can take first yellow, next along the blue hiking trail from Polana Chocholowska - Bobrowiecky Zleb - Lucna - Dlhy uplaz - Rakon. From Rakon you can continue to Volovec or Lucna.
Cache is located near the top in direction to the Rohac valley under the bigger stone (see spoiler). During the seasonal trail closing on the slovak side from 1.11. -15.6. is Rakon accessible only from the polish side. Finding the cache in the winter depends on the snow cover.
