Geocache Description:

This is the second cache not far from the babbling brook that is Denholme Beck. The co-ordinates are not for the location of the cache but suggested parking co-ordinates.

There and Beck in Denholme 1 contains the information you require to find this cache. The starting point is the stile a few metres from where part one was hidden. The co-ordinates for this stile are N 53° 47.666 W 001° 53.236. From this starting point you must use the distance and bearing details you found to project the final location of this cache, part two. The area is a pleasant valley which passes a disused quarry and crosses a disused railway line. If you follow the path you will eventually arrive at Doe Park Reservoir where where you will find a number of other caches and a water activity centre. If you use the suggested parking for this cache (which are the false co-ordinates for part 2) then you will have to descend a steep slope which can be wet, muddy and slippery. You will also have to ford the beck itself which may be tricky after heavy rain as there isn't a bridge. The public footpath follows the beck and is generally muddy. This is especially the case at the moment in the wettest Summer I can recall. You could just use the clue and have a guess at where you think I placed it. If that works for you then you should probably go and buy a lottery ticket as you are currently experiencing a lot of luck! As you have carried on reading the description this far (most people don't get past the hint, me included), I'll save you the effort of having to decode it: this cache is hidden under a smaller rock beside a large flat rock and you are near an old quarry so there's quite a few of them around! If you failed to find part 1, then I'm really sorry that you have had a wasted trip.
