Geocache Description:

Located by a footpath that runs by Denholme Beck, this cache contains information required to find a second nearby cache.

The area is a pleasant valley which passes a disused quarry and crosses a disused railway line. If you follow the path you will eventually arrive at Doe Park Reservoir where where you will find a number of other caches and a water activity centre. If you use the suggested parking for this cache (which are the false co-ordinates for part 2) then you will have to descend a steep slope which can be wet, muddy and slippery. You will also have to ford the beck itself which may be tricky after heavy rain as there isn't a bridge. The public footpath follows the beck and is generally muddy. This is especially the case at the moment in the wettest Summer I can recall. This cache contains information to find part 2. In order to do this, you will need to know how to project a waypoint using a bearing and distance on your particular geo positioning device. It's not in a drystone wall and you don't need to move stones to find it. I don't generally do tricky hides and I try to provide generous clues (I want you to find it!), so be gentle when searching.
