Welcome to Boston Hills forest!
The total distance (as crow flies) from parking to the final and back is just under two miles. You will not need to bushwhack for more than 150 feet. All legs, except for the first one that is in obvious spot, are easily accessible in the winter.
The trails can be muddy after the rain and during wet seasons. In the winter some trails are open to snowmobiles and I saw a couple of guys on dirt bikes in the summer. Step of trail if you hear them - they can be moving fast.
Park at the Rice Road parking lot and continue on the trail to the first leg.
After signing the log do not forget to record the coordinates for the Bonus cache (GC3QDY4) from the back of the log book.
