Geocache Description:

In the 19th century this had been part of Mercer County and what used to be [what the elder locals refer to as] the old Miller Farm.
'
In Pulaski Township there were built, circa 1850-1865, six original brick mansions. Two of the other mansions are'round'. All six remain, with one being on rt 208, as you come from Pulaski it’s on your right. One of the aforementioned mansions was to be on this property somewhere. This was known as The Brown Mansion. Most likely for the family that lived here before it was the gamelands. Well, lets go meet Mr. Brown shall we......

Once you’re at the parking area, you’ll want to look towards the gate for the gamelands. You’ll see a WHITE Trail tack. Follow it. Now on some previous night caches we’ve lit your way with NUMEROUS trail markers, NOT THIS TIME! You’ll have to earn this one. You MIGHT see a tack every 500 feet or so. Remember, you’re looking for WHITE trail tacks. IF YOU SEE ORANGE YOU’RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!! ORANGE LEADS YOU BACK TO THE PARKING!!!

I’ve posted a waypoint for where you SHOULD end up IF you followed the WHITE tacks in. Once you reach the waypoint MAKE SURE TO GET THE INFO !!! You’ll need it!

Now that you’re at the waypoint, you ask yourself, what now. Now you follow the ORANGE tacks! BE SURE TO GET THE INFO!!

Here’s why you’ll need the info at the waypoint:

When you finally meet Mr Brown you’ll know. Now for the info.

Below is a set of coordinates, minus a few numbers. So here’s what you do.

North

1. Take the number Batallion the Mr. Brown was in and replace the letter A.
2. Take the NORTH MINUTES of the waypoint location and replace the letter B.
3. Subtract the Regiment number from the Batallion number and replace the letter C

West

1. Subtract the Regiment number from the Batallion number then divide that by itself and replace the letter D.
2. Count the number of letters in the mans name you’ll meet and subtract 1 then replace the letter E.
3. Add the number represented by D to ITSELF then multiply that by D+E. Take that number and add E-D to it. Take this number and replace the letter F.

If part 3 of the west has you confused this may help (D+D) X (D+E) + (E-D) = ????

N41 A. BCA
W080 F. DDE

Once you THINK you have the numbers right, you’re ready to go find the cache. Remember earlier I mentioned that ORANGE was the wrong way....Well now ORANGE IS THE RIGHT WAY!!! Follow the orange tacks and go to the coordinates that you’ve came up with. Remember that the tacks are few and far between so be patient and just enjoy the walk and Happy caching!

NOTE TO ALL CACHERS!!!!!

There’s a Geocoin ATTACHED TO the logbook. LEAVE IT THERE!!! DISCOVER IT ONLY!!! This is to be LEFT with the cache. When you log the cache online, you may also log that you DISCOVER the Geocoin as well. DO NOT TAKE THE COIN. When the person logging the cache/coin it puts it in YOUR HANDS! That way when the next person finds the cache and BY CHANCE the coin ISN’T there, I’ll contact the previous finder whom logged it as being there. Follow me? IF the coin comes up missing, I’LL HOLD THE PREVIOUS CACHER RESPONSIBLE!!!! Meaning, I’ll be in contact with Groundspeak and allowing them to address the issue. So to make things simple.... LEAVE THE GEOCOIN WITH THE LOGBOOK!!!

Thank you and Happy Caching!
