Gretyl Heads Out Back Traditional Cache
KatandKev: After 8 1/2 years in service, this cache is finally going away for good. That old guard rail keeps taking a hit and the cache keeps disappearing. Thanks for all who stopped out to find one of the original Gretyl caches.

Gretyl is back where Kev first starting his hunt for geocaches. The location of this cache is very near an archived cache that stumped Kev for a couple of weeks...he actually made more than 10 attempts before the "lightbulb" finally came on and he made the grab. What should have been his 3rd or 4th find turned into a frustrating event. Kev actually got his first case of geocaching poison ivy here in 2010!
This should be a routine park and grab...however, Kev has noticed that his GPSr loves to play tricks in this area. The compass will spin you around and lead you in crazy directions depending upon weather and how much interference the surrounding buildings and wires cause on any particular day. But if you have done any Gretyl caches before this should go relatively smooth for you. The cache Kev found a couple of years ago was a 35mm film canister tucked into the overlap of two pieces of the old guardrail...this hide is different than that. Watch for muggles...and have fun!
