Geocache Description:

***THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES***
**READ THE DESCRIPTION AND SOLVE THE PUZZLE TO LOCATE THE TRUE CACHE LOCACTION**

This evening, the final season of Breaking Bad begins. I really thought it was over at the end of last season and I would have been fine with that. I feel like the show had a very nice ending episode and that enough had been resolved that if I never saw the characters again, I would feel like I had been given all they had to offer. I’m not disappointed there is another season at all, though. I mean rare is the show that breaks so much from convention and is not afraid to pace itself much differently from most other shows on television today.

If you have not watched Breaking Bad, I should mention that the show is not for everyone. The pace is plodding. I mean really plodding. Today, so many of us have such trouble slowing down. In our movies and on our televisions we need something blowing up all the time or we get bored. Breaking Bad is not that specimen at all. There are times when there is no dialog or action for minutes. You are watching faces. Small movements. Pure acting. It is for those who can relax and relish in that sort of art. Still, I don't wish to be unfair. Periodically, the show does bring some action to the table.

The plot is very original. It focuses on the story of Walter White, who is a high-school chemistry teacher who is drawn into a life very much not his own by dramatic circumstances. One of the things I like the most is the fact that chemistry is at the center of the show. Overall the show did a good job in the first few episodes with the science. I only took two issues with the science dialog. The first was when it was suggested Nickel might be used in the synthesis of the special substance that the Walter White would come to cook throughout the show. Nickel is much too explosive to tolerate the conditions described. The other diversion was when it was said that an amount of Magnesium, with Tellurium added, would be added early in the cooking process. I am assuming that they really were trying to suggest that mixture to throw folks off the scent of Aluminum which would actually be added at that stage and work well for the substance being cooked. Maybe the writers though it sounded fancier and more “sciency”. Other than that, the show enumerated every bit of chemistry glassware properly. In fact, so well, that it really suggests the chemists advising the show really knew what they were doing and the elemental issues stated above were done so purposefully.

These days, there are so many shows that follow the same old themes and storylines. I’m glad I stuck with Breaking Bad from day one. There were a few moments were even I thought about breaking away because of how slow the show became at times. But, had I left, I would have missed out on some of the best moments of television entertainment I have experienced. The final season is at hand. It will be interesting to see whether the writers have a worthy payoff in store. Either way, cupcake sprinkles have never tasted so bitter.

As far as this cache goes, all you really need to do is fill in the blanks below and go find the cache. I have included a geochecker to make the process even easier.
