Oi Futo Greenway was created to restore marine wetlands and provide an area to enjoy sports and recreation. Oi Futo Greenway was built with an emphasis on protecting the environment of landfill areas and provide people a chance to get close to nature.
The greenway stretches north and south and consists of three parts: pond, garden path, and woods. Each part plays its role in supporting the whole. The pond serves to regulate the flow of water and temporarily store some of the rainwater that runs off the nearby Yashio Park Town apartment complex. It gives residence a soothing place to relax. The path allows visitors to become intimate with woods and water as it winds along the edge of the pond and through the deciduous trees like sycamore and oak) and such flowering trees as sasanqua and Rose of Sharon. The woods follows the line of the highway and serves the function of mitigating the exhaust and fumes from passing vehicles and absorbing the road noise. Evergreens such as edulis and tap were planted so that even in winter the woods would remain lush and green.
The cache is hidden along Oi Ryokudo. The cache is accessible from Showa Jima Station or Oi Keibajo Mae Station on the Tokyo Monorail. The cache is within walking distance but it is easier to reach by bicycle. If you come by bicycle you should be prepare to do some light trail riding. The skinny tire clan my want to park their racers on the sidewalk and hoof it.

大井埠頭中央海浜公園は、海の自然を利用して水辺に親しみながら、スポーツレクレーションを楽しめる海上公園の一つです。大井埠頭中央海浜公園は、特に埋立地の環境を保護し、利用者が緑を親しむ事に重点を置いて作られました。
公園全体は、池、森、園路の南北に細長い３つのエリアで構成され、池は、近隣の八潮パークタウンの雨水を貯め、水の流れを調整するのに役立っています。それは、居住者にリラックスする場所を与えます。園路は、緑や水辺に自然な形で親しめるように、池沿いと樹林の中にあります。園路の周辺の樹木は、明るくさわやかな雰囲気にするために、落葉樹（プラタナス、コナラなど）や花木（サザンカ、ムクゲなど）を中心に植えてあります。樹林は、高速道路側につくられ、道路から発生する騒音や排気ガスを緩和するはたらきを持っています。樹木は、冬でも葉をたくさん繁らせる常緑樹（マテバシイ、タブなど）を中心に植えてあります。
キャッシュは大井緑道に沿って隠されています。キャッシュは、東京モノレールの昭和島駅と大井競馬場前駅からのアクセスが可能です。キャッシュは、徒歩圏内にありますが、自転車でも可能です。自転車の場合道の一部が舗装されていません。スキニータイヤ一族は、キャッシュに近くなったら、歩道に自転車を止めて残りの距離足で運んでいた方がいいでしょう。
