Fun little cache in a neat little place, this area has been approved for the expansion of Mt. Rose Ski Resort. The 10 year plans include expanding beginner terrain into the Atoma area via a ski-bridge over the highway, new entry/exit from lot 7 just up the road, lodging, and much more to come.
use the dirt road across from the resort parking lot and find your way from there. 4wd is nice, but not necessary
