It may LOOK like it, but this cache is definitely NOT for the Birds...it's for the Bugs (Travel Bugs, that is).
It seems that the vast majority of new caches these days are micros (or smaller) and cannot possibly actually hold a travel bug. The reasons I'm placing this cache are twofold:
- Replace my prior bug hotel that was lost to the recent freeway construction.
- Provide a safe secure place to place your treasured travel bugs so they can be picked up by another cacher and moved on its way.
This cache is on my personal property and should be safe from most hazards.
Please trade travellers when possible to maintain at least one in the cache for others to enjoy. It is not a requirement but it is well appreciated.
Please use the cache log book to enter the name (if known) and the tracking number of travellers you leave and take so that we can keep track of them.
