There is a hornet nest nearby. Is is far enough away from the cache as not to be a problem. The best is located behind a football sized rock at the base of a tree. Please remember at this cache, it is not under a rock. No rocks need to be moved. For those allergic to bees, hornets or waspsPLEASE READ THIS WARNING, please avoid this area until late fall. Again, they are nor close enough to be a problem if you avoid the football sized rock at the base of the tree.
This little pond, okay not so little. Is a nice little spot to come down and use your kyak or small boat for a nice quiet day. Come down enjoy the water and the area and when you get a bit frustrated with the cache go back and visit the pond again to clear your mind.
