Geocache Description:

This is a lovely part of the High Peak centred on the Crowden area, as you make your way to either Manchester in one direction or Easterly towards Sheffield.

Start the cache trail by parking at Crowden car park just off the A628. In the summer, the camp site shop will be open for drinks/snacks. This is a lovely walk suitable for dog walkers and children, but not for disabled people. We recommend a strong pair of boots whatever the time of year and this is on route to both Highstones and Lads Leap. It is a steep walk up but the views are really worth it on a clear day, as you can see for miles all around the Crowden area. From Crowden campsite take the left hand path.
