My husband created this cache as a birthday present for my XXth birthday on July 19. It has all my favorite cache features: no pine trees or bushwhacking; 24/7 access; winter-friendly; less than 100 feet of walking from parking spot to smiley; big enough for small trackables, and a spiffy cache location.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU ARE OVER AGE 50 AND WILLING TO ADMIT IT.
Do not attempt to stop/park on the 696 service drive (11 Mile Road) while looking for the cache -- park at the nearby parking coordinates and follow the sidewalk through to the other side of the brick wall. This cache will be a quick park & grab for many--tougher for newbies. Beware of the red herring.
