A small lock and lock container hidden in the Dwaaskill Nature Preserve. You will have a short (although it may be a muddy) walk to the cache.
**Please bring your own pen until I get a pen small enough to put in here**
Just a few weeks ago, I was at the Dwaaskill finding a cache on my own. At the intersection of a trail, I ran into a lovely older couple and had a short talk with them. We talked about the trails back in here, and I mentioned that I was going out to find a geocache along the trail. They were not geocachers, but said they had heard of it before. They told me it was their first time in here, and they lived over in Niskayuna. After a few minutes, we parted and I went off to find the cache.
While heading back out of the preserve a while later, I passed the couple sitting down on the bridge, overlooking the stream eating lunch. The woman asked me if I found the cache, and then they asked me if I wanted some lunch too. It was very sweet.
Maybe the couple will start caching someday and see this tribute to them. If not, I'd like to remember them anyway for how kind they were. This cache is hidden near the place where the couple ate their lunch. Please be sure to re-hide it well.
