Gibeon Receives Hailstones
Chapter 10 of the book of Joshua recounts the tale of the day the Earth stood still! All of Israel, under the command of Joshua, attacked the five Amorite kings who had laid siege to Gibeon. As the Amorites tried to flee, hailstones fell from the sky upon those who fled the battle ...
Verse 13 tells us:
The sun stood still,
the moon stayed,
while the nation took vengeance on its foes.
This is recorded in the Book of Jashar. The sun halted halfway across the heavens; not for an entire day did it press on.
Then, Joshua cried out in a loud voice:
Klaatu! Barada! Nikto!
... And a giant robot knocked the walls of the city down!
