The Seaway Trail Discovery Center is a pick-up location for the Geo-trail logbooks and coins.

The Great Lakes Seaway Trail GeoTrail is a series of geocaches located throughout the Great Lakes Seaway Trail region. The GeoTrail encourages participants to get outside and experience the scenic, natural, historic, and cultural resources of the Great Lakes Seaway Trail National Scenic Byway.

The 518 mile byway is divided into five regions with approximately 15 caches located within each region. Geocachers finding at least 10 official Great Lakes Seaway Trail GeoTrail caches in one region can redeem their passport for a free commemorative GeoTrail Coin for the region. Five hundred coins have been produced for each region and are available while supplies last. Geocachers are invited to collect coins from each region.

Each cache contains a numbered hole punch which corresponds to a numbered space in the punch strip shown along the right side of the page for each region in the Logbook. Once you have punched at least ten spaces on the punch strip, bring your Logbook to one of the partnering community agencies listed for the region to pick up your free collectable geocoin. You will be able to keep your GeoTrail Logbook to continue looking for caches in other regions or simply as a souvenir.
