Devil's Night, or
____ Night, is a name associated with October 30, the night before Halloween. It is related to the "
Mischief night" practiced in other parts of the United States and the world, but is chiefly associated with the serious vandalism and arson seen in
Detroit, Michigan from the 70s to the 90s, finally prompting the "
Angel's Night" community response.
This event will start in the haunted Halmich Park (just search the title of this cache minus HH-12 and you will find some stories) and then move around the area while we search for Halloween based caches...
6:30 - 9:00 (ish) PM - NO DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED (eat before) - We will meet at a pavilion inside the park (look for a Geocaching sign and pumpkin)...
6:30 - 7:00 PM I will load your GPS units for the new "haunted" caches in the area (bring your cords so I can give you coords)... I will also have a limited supply of handouts for the smart phone users like me...
7:00 - 9:00 (ish) PM We will look for the new caches as a group (everyone getting a shared FTF on all of them)...
9:00 (ish) PM I will provide doughnuts and cider for your enjoyment - we will eat at the last cache...
This event had 10 caches and a bonus cache all hidden my Team-Gates and myself!
