Geocache Description:

This is a series of caches starting in Thrapston and taking in the old railway line down to Ringstead before heading back via Denford across footpaths. It is almost all 'off road'.

This walk is circular and takes about 2-3 hours. There are cafes in Thrapston and Ringstead and pubs too. Beware nettles in Summer although being a wimp, I've tried to put most higher up!

Take a pen: some are small and they are of varying types. The title of the cache gives a clue for what you’re looking for.
None are designed to be devious, they are just an opportunity to see some lovely countryside. They link in with some other caches: Mind The Gap and Trambled Under Foot as well as the Thrapston History Trail traditional and multicaches and the railway line links you to Stanwick Lakes. Poshrule's trails is close to this one and you could peel off and do the Bythorn trail from here.

This is a large container so please rehide well.

Cache size is 10 inch by 5 inch.

Contained: toy tools, pen, marbles, frog, car and FTF badge

Sorry about the nettles in Summer: wear long trousers for this one.

The trail now takes you straight down the hill (Childs Street) past a pub, then across the road into Meadow Lane, across the bridge and you follow the Nene Way north which is marked as the footpath.
There's a fair walk between 18 and 19 due to some 'on the water' caches which mean that land caches would be too close to them sadly.
