Quiet little meadow Traditional Cache

This cache is located near a quiet little meadow along the Loantaka Brook Reservation bridle trail, which is one of many trails that gives riders an opportunity to relax and explore the natural beauty of the many miles of bridle paths of adjacent Loantaka Brook Reservation.

Getting to the Cache

This cache is located on the south side of the park, opposite the Loantaka Way parking area. You can walk (.25) along Loantaka Way passing the old Gibbons horse Farm to access the paved park trail. Otherwise, follow the blue trail from the parking area, this will intersect with the red trail, and cross Loantaka Way further down from the parking area at a designated road crossing. This is a slightly longer hike, 15 minutes)

YOU WILL NEED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE FROM THE PAVED PATH OVER THE STREAM TO ACCESS THE BRIDLE TRAIL, CROSS THE BRIDGE BY THE FARM, THE PROPERTY BOUNDRY IS AT THE SPLIT RAIL FENCE.
