The trails at Silver Lake are something I enjoy very often. I am pleased to announce that there have been many upgrades and extensions to experience.
This cache is named Trail Blazer for two reasons. The first is to show appreciation to all the people who built and maintain the trails we geocachers and others use for recreation. Without them we would have to do a LOT of bushwhacking. The trails at Silver Lake have several new spurs and the new ones pass quite close to several caches in the area. The second reason for naming the cache Trail Blazer is because I found yet another amazing natural site on the new trail. A very ancient burned out stump standing nearly 20 tall. This stump has NO inner support and rests upon itself like a giant alien's legs. Please do not touch or damage the stump, it surely is a one of a kind find in all my hiking of the trails at Silver Lake.
