Geocache Description:

This cache is designed to be an easy grab while doing one of my favorite past times, floating on the river with friends.

Last few summers, I've really taken interest in doing river floats with friends. There are places in the area where you can spend very little money to get dropped off and picked up with a water vessel of your choice (conoe, kayak, or raft) and have a great time soaking in sun and meeting others on the water. I placed this cache on a river float with good friends 87preludea20a3 and Forest-Ghost. We each placed caches that day, I'm happy to say that mine will be the easiest of all.

I would only recommend approaching this cache from the river, DO NOT approach from land as I'm pretty sure thats trespassing and I will not be held responsible for your actions if you choose NOT to follow my directions on this cache. It is a level 5 terrain because I only want this cache to be approached from the water. GZ of the cache is about a 1.5 or 2 terrain with little to no bushwacking required. Make sure to keep an eye out for the obvious location of the cache, an easy to see concrete platform with a steep stairwell going into the hillside.

Please, feel free to post pictures of your trip to the cache and finding the cache if you please. My intention was to get more geocachers into the water and enjoy all the fun Missouri's waters have to offer, not a devious tricky hide. I would be happy to provide more info on how to get to this cache if anyone is interested. As always, be safe and enjoy your float on the beautiful and scenic Meramec River. Bring your own writing utensil as this is a micro with only a log.
