We only found Killoch Glen when travelling through it to get up to the caches on the hill. One of those "I'd never have found it without Geocaching" moments. Now it is one of our favorite dog walks. At the bottom of the gorge is a ruined mill and dam. Ivy the Labrador found the easy way there. See if you can.
Park at the bottom of the glen in the lay-by at the waterworks entrance. The cache is just up the path. You will see ground zero from the fence - But how do you get there?
The difficulty will really depend on how wet it is and how high the burn is. Today, it was quite low so I escaped with dry feet.
Which ever way you choose, it will be slippery and muddy, so wear appropriate footwear.
