A Stretch in the Trees Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
We only found Killoch Glen when travelling through it to get up to the caches on the hill. One of those "I'd never have found it without Geocaching" moments. Now it is one of our favorite dog walks. This cache takes you to a bit of the glen you've probably never been to.
A steep path leads up to the top of the glen and gives spectacular views down into the gorge. It's fairly easy going, but it can get pretty muddy around the steps. Once at the top and into the open, you will have to decide the best route to ground zero.
There are several ways to get there, some fairly easy and some fairly stupid, so I've opted for an average terrain score of 4. Like the cache downstream, it may well depend on how rainy it's been.
Once you are there, you will see a vista that you didn't quite expect. The drop-offs are steep, so please keep dogs and young children well under control. Please replace the sticky cammo if it goes astray.
