I have placed this cache for my step-father Larry First. He lives here and once served as a Marine in Vietnam. He is on full time oxygen and keeps mostly to his bed now. I asked his permission on placing this cache as I am moving out of the county to teach and he is so excited and supportive of geocaching and my life in general.
Please be respectful of the residence and cache in daylight. Oh and please if you happen to see my step-dad (Larry) or mom, sister or brother give them a big Marine 'Hoorah' for me and tell them Catherine sent ya!
The cache itself should be a super easy P&G. It is a large camo cache perfect for kids and the whole family. Lots of fun goodies for kids and some special FTF gifts, please trade up.
I told him I’d request photo’s as well. So if you could post a picture of you getting the cache he would really love that! Since, he can’t come out of the house and socialize I figured I would bring people and adventure to him.
Update: My step-father passed away July 5th 2014, a little over a month before my daughter was born. My mom and I keep the cache maintained and in working order, in his honor. Thank you for all who have visited and enjoy the family cache. Marine strong and proud.
