Geocache Description:

An excuse to get away from town and enjoy the views.

A couple of years ago on this spot we looked for a cache that we could never locate. I had emailed back and forth with the cache owner over the years, mostly about puzzles placed under his pseudonym. I wrote to him for help with this hide and never heard back. Months later I learned that he had passed away.

This cache was placed with him in mind. We found several of his caches over the years, mostly out near Pyramid Lake where he petitioned for permission to place them. We never had the pleasure to have met the man in person but his reputation preceded him. If you knew him it would be nice if you could share a little about him in your log.
