If you park in the passing place and go directly to the cache, you will get wet feet, ( although it was bone dry when I did a reconn earlier in the year ). Walk down the road 75 yds/m and cross there where it is relatively drier !!!.
When standing on the hillock and turning around you will see:-
New houses, Old Crofts, Tv/Radio masts, Moorland, a windfarm, rolling hills with Ben Griam Mor (there's a cache there ) in the distance, Morven ( the highest hill in Caithness), Scaraben, Berriedale, pylons, Egg factory, oil platforms and a couple of wind turbines in the Moray Firth, and Latheronwheel.
It was overcast when I placed the cache, but these were all visible.
Enjoy Caithness.
