The North Downs Series comprises 94 caches set in three loops on and below the chalk downland between Wrotham and Snodland. The route follows sections of the North Downs Way, Pilgrims’ Way and Wealdway, footpaths that offer some magnificent views of the Kent countryside. The walk passes through varied countryside including woodland, chalk grassland and footpaths through fields below the Downs. To enjoy the fine views the series should, ideally, be completed in good weather.
This cache was previously named TT20 Trottiscliffe Trail and has now been incorporated as cache #13 in the North Downs series and the 7th cache in the Ryarsh Ramble circuit. For full details of the complete series and the three loops that make it up see TT01.
