Geocache Description:

This cache is a quick multi cache that has a short walk to accompany it. Parking is available close to the start. Some is free on street parking but there is a large public pay and display charging 50p per hour. There is a local market on the car park on a Thursday morning so there are fewer spaces available then. It is all relatively flat ground with some nice areas to visit too and allows some quick tourist moments around Whitstable.

Question 1
In what year did the first steam operated rail service in the world start?

Question 2

In what year did British Rail close the line to Canterbury?

The next waypoint will take you to a bench where you can take a rest, but pay attention this is the site of the last question:

Here lies a small plaque in which it states two years, what are these years take note of them?

Now you will have four answers, and the years should, when used as instructed, give you the answer to the final cache location.

The final cache is located at:

N51° 21.4A6

E001° 01.BCD

To find A, add the first two digits from the answer to question 1.

To get B: add the third digit and the fourth digits together from the answer for question 2.

C = the last digit from the first year from question 3.

To get D, using the years found at question 3, add the first digit of the first year to the last digit of the last year.

Answer all these questions and put the numbers in the correct place and this will give you the final cache coordinates. Happy caching, Hope you enjoy it.
