This is a family-friendly cache in a quiet wooded area near Glenwood Lake. Take a walk down the paved path in Glenwood Park, enjoy nature, and grab a cache while you're at it!
This cache is hidden in a wooded area, and there are several narrow trails that lead from the paved path into this area. You can park along the road and pick up the paved path at almost any point. If you want the shortest walk, check out hint #2 below.
Depending on the trail you choose, there is little overgrowth. All of the trails should be do-able for all ages, but if you feel like you're pushing through too much plant life, double back and pick another path. The paths nearest to the cache have basically no overgrowth at all.
You can bike on the paved path but will need to walk the trails a short distance to the cache.
You're looking for a plastic lockable container, covered with camoflauge duct tape. Original contents include a wooden owl, a squishy bug, bubbles, a quarter, a marble, and a fishing lure you can use for fishing Glenwood Lake.
There's a small per person charge if you drive into Glenwood Park, but you can walk in for free ... you'll just have to walk further. :-)
