Welcome to Veteran's Park, just off of Route 46 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey.
My friend and co-worker Debbie, has retired from her job with the State of New Jersey, and off to tend her bees, her bee business, and ski on the ski patrol in the winter. Why a tribute cache to her? Because she is the one responsible for getting me involved with this insanity called geocaching!!! And I thank her so very much
. I've seen so many different, and wonderful places in my short geocaching 'career'?!? Places I would have never dreamed of stopping by, and taking the time to see them. So as a tribute to her, I've created this fun, now 2-stage multi-cache. She even helped me by providing several of the cache containers used in the original rendition of this multicache. It is with great sadness, that I have to announce that my friend, and former co-worker to whom this geocache was a tribute to, Mrs. Deborah Cowell, has passed on from this Earth, on Sunday, July 09, 2017
. She was a great person, full of spirit and energy, and a champion of the great outdoors and the environment of the State of New Jersey. She will be very much missed. Rest easy. Rest In Peace!
The final cache has been replaced and moved. You'll need to BYOP, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE place all of the cache stages back in the EXACT manner in which they were found. Overall terrain difficulty set to a 3 for the final only. Muggles, of coarse, can be ever present, at any time. NOTE: This park is NOT open after it gets dark. No night caching permitted. Replace cache containers exactly as you found them! Not much left to say except to have fun, be safe, and if you see a veteran, please say "Thank You".
