Geocache Description:

Quick stop on the east bound side by Fremont tower.  It's a little way off at the tree line.  Small Lock n Lock.

This one is on the other drive to Fremont tower, park at the gate.  Pull to one side or the other a little just in case someone is there and needs to get out.   With the budget the way it is we have gone back to climbing towers when we need to for fire detection.  There are bench marks in the area, I have not taken the time to look them up. The fire tower is right there but it's not open to the public.  The tower is on the Mark Twain National forest.  This area used to be used as a rest stop for years. In fact when it was gated and closed, people came forward and asked for it to be reopened.  Now that the new Hwy 60 is four lanes, it is accessible on the east bound side. You will find this cache to be a small lock n lock container hidden at the base of a post.  It's big enough for small trade items or coins.  While I was placing it I saw a baby praying mantis who was quite lively and ran up the base of a small tree.  Please replace the container as you found it.  This looks to be just across a county line so you can get two counties very close together if doing the Missouri challenge. Bring you own pen. Headstone Hunter 1 Get the FTF, Thanks for finding my Cache!
