Geocache Description:

This is a Night Cache, not intended, nor optimized, for seeking during the daylight hours. Please wait until at least 30 minutes past predicted sunset for best results.

 

Welcome to the Woods! The cache container is placed about .15 miles from the starting coordinates, so a little walk is required and the following guidelines should be strictly adhered to:

- Bring a friend or two! Due to the nature of this placement and the darkness of the location, seeking this cache alone is not recommended.
- Bring a good flashlight with fresh batteries for each member of your team.
- Watch carefully for wild animals, protruding branches and debris on the ground. 
- Retain the original coordinates to safely return to your vehicle after the find.
- Have fun! 

This is a log-only cache. You are seeking a container that is larger on the outside than it is on the inside. There is no space for trade items and you must bring your own writing utensil. 

When you arrive at the posted coordinates, where you may also park, you will see one or more highly reflective "Fire Tacks" in front of you. Use these reflective spots to guide you on your walk. When you reach each spot of reflected light, stop and look around you, using your flashlights to locate the next marker on your journey before proceeding. From each reflector, you should be able to locate the next until you reach the final location. 
When you have arrived at a forest feature with two reflectors, you have arrived at the final. Stop here and look around until you find the container and sign the log. At this point, the cache is fairly obvious and the find will not be difficult.
