This cache has a story!

On my recent annual Twaing Crater Sleepover event, we set out on the Saturday morning to do the Crater walking trail. We started the search when we got to the spot where the old cache (GCVMNY TG Rockby Team Gecko) were supposed to be.  In our search we did not find the container and started to search all over in the vacinity.  Eventually we found a replacement container with a new log sheet with a signature on the sheet.  It seems like this cacher also did not know that the old cache were archived. With two reviewers in the group, Rodsip and Pte Curb did the checks and confirmed that the old cache were archived. We had a discussion and I then offered to place a new cache.

Thus the name Tswaing - Found by accident!!

I hope that this cache will be found by all visiting this magnificent setting on the rim of the crater.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a small entrance fee of R20.00 per person payable if you enter the Tswaing Meteorite Crater.
