Geocache Description:



At age 4 or 5 Lloyd E.Matheson almost drowned in this pond. 
Walking from his home next door to the pond,he filled his pockets full of rocks to throw into the pond.
Near the waters edge he tripped and fell in ;weighted down by the rocks,unable to get up Lloyd  would've drowned had it not been for a observant  nieghbour who was watching him play. She ran to his rescue.
Lloyd E. Matheson went on to become the longest serving Municipal counsellor in Canada serving his community of Nine Mile River/ Elmsdale for 44 years.
 
This  cache was placed by one of Lloyd's sons and his daughters, on the 4 th anniversary of the death of Lloyd E. Matheson at age 73 . July 15 2012

This cache is a pill bottle with a Hans County municipal pin for the ftf. In cache when placed a few small trade items and pencil
