Geocache Description:

1st stage no longer exists. but you can find the final cache as these GZ: > 2nd stage also park 'n grab;thorns present

GIVE ME A B! GIVE ME AN H! GIVE ME AN S! WHAT DOES IT SPELL? BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL!!!! RAH RAH RAH!!!   This cache is to honor the memory of a high school that once stood as the proud center of a community and has now been completely torn down. 'Gone perhaps, but not forgotten!' is our motivation for this cache. This is a multi-cache with stage 1 clue and stage 2 the cache. It is also a letterbox with a handcarved stamp by CO (Not for trade).

My hubby and I are saddened that the entire building and grounds of Old Bingham High School have been dismantled and swept away as if they never existed. Not even a statue or memorial was left to commemorate a proud buidling that was once not only a bastion of school spirit, sports teams, acadmeic achievement, prom dances, and pep rallies with a burning B, but a social gathering place for the entire community. My hubby played football on the old football field, now abandoned behind an unfriendly fence marked 'No Tresspassing.' "Gone perhaps, but not forgotten!" my hubby said and I agreed. Such a treasure of memories should not forsaken. And so, we decided to create a cache to acknowledge and honor the traditions and memories of Old Bingham High. It stands as her only memorial.
With this cache, we also invite you to come visit the community of Copperton.  From stage 1, you can view the location of the old HS which is right across the street. Can you imagine the old school standing there? That barren field is the location of where once many lively, wonderful young people enjoyed their youthful teenage years.  While the structure is gone, its spirit lives on in the memory of all who went there.

As the purpose of this cache is historical, there are also some historical documents. PLEASE TAKE TIME TO SIT DOWN WITH THE CONTENTS AND EXAMINE THE HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS. THEY ARE THE REASON FOR THIS CACHE. LET YOUR IMAGINATION TAKE YOU BACK IN TIME. If you have any connection with the old school, I'd love to hear about it in your log.   /p> 1st stage magnetic park 'n grab  beware of muggles. TIGHTLY PACKED: YOU WILL NEED TWEEZERS!
2nd stage: From here you can see "the B" on the hillside. Please take a photo if you can, and post it when you log in.
Final stage Cache contains A VERY COOL GEOCACHING gift for the FTF, some cool BHS swag for  trading, and the new stamp.
Cache container is medium-sized ammo box.
The cache is under a very thorny bush. Save your hands from the prickles and look for the string. Please rehide completely out of sight, as good or better than you found it. I've had to replace this cache five times now because it was discovered by muggles. Your thank you for my effort is the log you write so please take a moment to say more than " TFTC." Your log makes my day. Enjoy the cache. Hope you think it's a favorite. THANK YOU. MB
