Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Oregon is a "can do" state. You can go rafting, kayaking, windsurfing and fishing in crystal clear lakes. You can hike and bike on hundred of miles of trails. Of course, one of the most important and fun activities you can do is cache, where caching got its start. That's right, caching was born on May 3, 2000 when Dave Ulmer hid a bucket of trinkets in the woods outside Portland, OR. Soon caches started popping up all over the world and our lives were enhanced with the joy of caching. So, if you can't travel to Oregon, do the next best thing and do this multi-cache with an Oregon partner. You must go to the posted coordinates where you will find the coordinates to the cache in Oregon called GTT Gone to TX, GC3PBQ7. Then write a note on the Oregon cache page that you are looking for a partner. When you have found a partner, you will exchange coordinates and each partner will find the cache in his state. Be sure you sign your name AND the name of your partner in the cache log; your partner will sign both his AND your name on the the log in Oregon. Now you both get to claim both of the caches. Please DO NOT post the coordinates or your log will be deleted. Please do have fun, and if you like, post pictures. Now get out there and begin your journey to Oregon!
