OHIOPYLE PARK N' GAB at Tharp Knob

Come join us Saturday, October 13th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. for our second Park n' Gab at Ohiopyle State Park's Tharp Knob Picnic Area

(Pavilion #4)

Event Times:

11:00 - Event begins (sign the log & pick up nametag)

12:00 to 4:00 - Various Games to include: GPS Accuracy Game (stake that flag), 9 Square, Guess the Contents of the Ammo Can, and 50/50. We are also going to have a prize for the best deviled egg! Be sure to come ready to have fun!

12:30 Food is served

4:00 Prizes are announced (must be present to win)

We will be supplying burgers, hotdogs, buns & condiments, bottled water, plates, plastic ware, & napkins. Please bring any other drinks you prefer and a pot luck side dish or dessert to share with the group.

Tharp Knob Picnic Area is adjacent to the Tharp Knob Overlook which provides a panoramic view of the Youghiogheny River Gorge and the town of Ohiopyle. The picnic area has a large ball field, volleyball court, playground, two pavilions, restrooms and access to the Kentuck Trail and loop hiking trails. No electric is available at the pavilion.
