This is a 50 ml container that contains a log only. It is placed at the site of the first Methodist Church built in Canada. This site is found in Blackhead, Conception Bay, Newfoundland. Highway signs mark the location of this historic site. There is a large sign at the site which reads - ' The Site of the First Methodist Church Erected in Canada,1769'. There is also a comemmoration plaque placed by the Newfoundland and Labrador Conference of the United Church of Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Immediately behind the site is a very old United Church Cemetery. The cache is located in a spruce tree along the stone wall of the cemetery and to the right of the small gate. Congratulations to Dalmation on a first to find.
