Geocache Description:

I came back to Virginia to visit my friend+, Rich, and meet his sister and her husband.
On this visit we saw deer, a blue heron, rabbits, groundhogs, and a kingfisher, ate good food, swam in the river, fished, sat around a campfire, make some'ores, talked and did a little geocaching.

One day I noticed this nice little park across the Shenandoah River near the public boat ramps. There are several multi-use fields here, picnic tables and a very nice 1/2 mile paved walking trail along the Shenandoah River. Several information signs give historic and geologic information. I enjoyed my walk and placed a cache for you to find.

Please park in the parking lot, and the cache will be just a short way down the trail.

Happy Caching!
