Geocache Description:

Here you are going to find one of the many concrete pillboxes that were scattered along the shores of Oahu during World War 2.  This one was part of Battery Laie and has seen better days.  This one has started its slow descent into the sea and is half buried.

You'll need to start your journey at the public beach access at the waypoint given.  Please do not be tempted to cross any of the private lots for a short cut.  Depending on the tides you may need to wade through the surf to find this cache.  You may even be standing in water to find this cache but its high and dry.  Please take care to replace it the same location.  If you venture to get this cache at night be prepared for some company on your walk.
